Galaxy S22 Ultra has Gorilla Glass camera protection, says new leak
With the Galaxy S21 FE announced, leakers have now turned their attention back to the Galaxy S22 series, and a new seemingly official spec sheet detailing the Galaxy S22 Ultra, in particular, has now emerged on Twitter.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad primary camera setup featuring an ultra-wide 12MP (f/2.2) camera with Dual Pixel AF; a 10MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, Dual Pixel AF and OIS; and a secondary 10MP (f/4.9) telephoto camera with 10x zoom, Dual Pixel AF, and OIS.
A wide 109MP (f/1.8) main camera with OIS and PDAF completes the rear-facing system, while a 40MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with PDAF resides in the Infinity-O display cutout.
The primary 108MP camera is covered by what the comp any calls Super Clear Glass.
Technically speaking, this is Gorilla Glass DX, and its application isn’t unique to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The first Samsung phones to use Gorilla Glass DX protection for the camera are the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
